The interlocking of machining machines requires the utilization of robots in case the exact positioning of the parts on the supporting-jigs is needed or if a high flexibility of the system is necessary.
The interlocking robots can be with 4 or 6 axles and they can be placed on movable trolleys or hanged up on carpentry structures to leave as much room as possible in front of the machines.
If they are combined with automatic or semi-automatic devices for the parts positioning, the robots can be guided by the vision system developed by Primon Automazioni for these applications.
